The rate of educating young girls in Africa is alarmingly low, with many parents considering girls as a source of capital once they reach 14 years, often marrying them off to men who can pay dowries.
At Lily Rose, we are fiercely committed to ending this injustice and empowering girls through education.
During our first sponsorship program, we successfully sent two young girls to high school, inspiring their peers to strive for academic excellence. As of now, we have enabled 10 children, particularly girls, to pursue their education at the high school level. We fervently hope for additional opportunities to ensure that their aspirations are fully realized, as many of them aspire to become doctors, nurses, and lawyers.
